This uses analytical technique for phase identification of a crystalline material and can provide information on unit cell dimensions. The analyzed material is finely ground, homogenized, and average bulk composition is determined. This facility is used by the three Focus Research Groups (FRGs) and is also open to the public as a means of revenue generation for PAMI.
